True Emotions
Why are we scared of expressing our emotions? Showing our love, our hate and all those other feelings. Why do we find it better to hide ourselves? Maybe because somewhere we know that we won't be accepted.....accepted for being what we are and showing what we feel. So we choose to remain under false pretences, showing only what others want to see; not showing the real emotions because they might scare people away.
No one wants to be alone. We find comfort in crowds as they let us fit in. Oblivion is a thing everyone fears, although they pretend not to. Thus we crave popularity and want attention.
We, the new generation, are far more affected by everything. What the people think, what they say, how they act; but why? Why are we so thoughtful of what others say about us but we never think before speaking ourselves.
We don't know how our attitude might affect someone else and somewhere it is still fine if what we say is the truth, but these words that we say is actually just stuff we think is right, not caring if it is hurtful or plain mean.
It all comes back to us showing our true emotions. We are so scared of these emotions that we find it better to hide under a veil of lies.
'Coz we don't understand that it is okay to feel, and okay to show....because in the end we are, after all, humans.
